Police apprehended six juveniles trespassing on the roof of a Puget Sound area high school after the Sonitrol Pacific audio security system protecting the building detected them July 25.

Monitoring Operator Kris Etheridge received an impact-activated audio sensor alert around 11:30 p.m.  She heard what sounded like someone running and called the school’s security guard.

The security guard initially saw three people on the school’s roof and  detained two.  Police were called.

Police tracked down an additional four kids.  The six trespassers were held until their parents came to pick them up.

The trespassers were detected by Sonitrol Pacific before entering the school and no damage was done to the facility.
