Last week, Sonitrol Pacific spared one of our clients the cost, inconvenience and general nightmarishness of a flood in their showroom when our audio sensors detected unusual sounds that turned out to be water dripping.

Michael Young, one of our talented sound analysts, received the activated signal and was able to differentiate between the normal pitter-pat of heavy spring rain on the roof and the abnormal pitter-pat of water inside the protected facility. He sent a guard service to check out the situation and the guard discovered a leak. The business owner was called and acted quickly to prevent further water flow.

Although water detection isn’t the focus of a Sonitrol Pacific audio intrusion system, it serves as an example of how our system can do things no typical burglar alarm company can. Our monitoring personnel are amazing at what they do and our technology is like nothing else out there.
