Police arrested two suspected burglars of an Everett car dealership after Sonitrol Pacific’s audio security detected the break-in July 16.
Monitoring Operator Minta Christopherson received the security system activation around 3:30 a.m. She listened to live security audio inside the building and heard sounds of movement. Christopherson immediately dispatched Everett Police. While police were on the way, Christopherson heard a thud and more sounds of movement.
Officers arrived at the business within minutes of Christopherson’s call and caught one person outside the dealership. A second suspected burglar took off in a truck, but police pursued and arrested him.
Due to Sonitrol Pacific’s early and verified detection, police arrested the two suspects before they actually got inside the dealership.
