Faint voices detected by Sonitrol Pacific’s audio security sensors resulted in the apprehension of two suspected trespassers inside a Tacoma area grade school on New Year’s Eve.
Monitoring Operator Ashley Sutton received an alert about 4:30 p.m. from the Sonitrol Pacific security system at the school. She heard faint voices over the live audio security sensors and called the district’s security guard service.
The security guard got to the school in about five minutes of getting Sutton’s call. He located two kids inside, detained them, then released them to their parents’ custody.
Happily, no damage was done to the school.
