Early this morning, Kris received video alarm activations from a lumber supplier in Stanwood, Wash. Using video verification, she could see a figure with light colored clothes and a hat and once again dispatched the Snohomish County Sheriff Department. When she received another motion viewer activation she notified the dispatch and found out that the officers were arriving on the site. The business’ contact called back and said that one person was taken into custody.
While audio verification is the backbone of our business, we also offer video verification to our clients. Yards, outdoor lots and indoor areas with lots of environmental noise can be great fits for video verification, in which motion triggers a video recording that is sent to the Verification Center. In this apprehension, video verification alarms covered the entire outdoor area for the client and detected the intrusion.
