Audio security sensors detected banging sounds at a Tacoma area school and the Sonitrol Pacific operator dispatched security guards to round up three suspected vandals June 27.

Operator Mike Young received the impact-activated audio alert from the school a little before 11 p.m.  He heard “exterior bangs” and sounds of movement and called the school district’s guard service.

Police were called to take three suspected vandals into custody.

According to the security guard, the three juveniles pried loose a picnic table to use it to climb onto the school’s roof.
