Two Different School Apprehensions Last Week!

Katelyn Smrecansky Arrests & Apprehensions

At around 11:15pm on June 5, the operator received audio from a classroom at an elementary school in Everett and could hear at least two males on site going through things and possibly stealing a camera. She then dispatched the Everett Police and alerted the emergency contacts as well as school patrol. The operator continued to hear occasional clatter. Police searched with K9 and found one person and were still searching for another suspect. The two gained entry through an unsecure roof hatch.

Then a different audio verification specialist was monitoring last Thursday afternoon when she received an alarm signal from a classroom at a high school in Snohomish. She could hear movement and banging noises and dispatched police. The specialist could then hear faint voices and advised police. Customer Service followed up and found out that five senior boys were arrested, they had broken in for their senior prank. They were in the process of moving a classroom up to the roof. They had gotten about 20 chairs moved before officers caught them.
