Security system detects, 2 arrested, $9K in equipment recovered

Chelsea Mitchell Arrests & Apprehensions

Kris Etheridge, expert Sonitrol Pacific operator

For the second time in two weeks, Sonitrol Pacific alerted police to a burglary in progress at Acrowood Corp Warehouse and suspects were arrested.

Early morning on September 21, Operator Kris Etheridge received an activation from the Sonitrol Pacific security system at the warehouse and called Everett Police.

When officers arrived, two men took off on foot and police sent the K9 unit after them.  Both suspects ignored warnings that the police dog would bite them if they didn’t surrender and both suspects sustained dog bites before being arrested.  About $9,000 in equipment was recovered.

According to police, the men cut through the property’s back gate, then broke a window to get inside the warehouse.

On September 4, another suspected burglar was arrested at Acrowood Corp Warehouse after a Sonitrol Pacific detection.

Special “thanks” to the Everett Police Department.
