Two kids were detained by police after Sonitrol Pacific detected them running around inside a public middle school April 12.
Monitoring Operator Kris Etheridge received an impact-activated audio security sensor alert from the school around 11:30 p.m. She heard a door open and close, followed by sounds of someone moving around and called police.
Etheridge continued to monitor audio while police were on their way and heard sounds of someone running through the school halls.
Police located two juveniles who said they found a key on the ground outside the school. Nothing was taken and no damage was done. The kids were released to their parents.
