A school district security guard rounded up two young children who went inside a school storage room to get toys to play with after Sonitrol Pacific detected them April 23.
Monitoring Operator Ashley Sutton received a silent alarm activation from an external storage room door at the school just before 6 p.m. She called the school’s security guard to investigate.
The guard located two young children playing with equipment outside near the storage room. He helped put away the toys and took the kids to their parents.
A school employee had left the storage room door ajar. The kids found the door open and went inside for toys to play with.
