Police detained seven kids suspected of vandalizing a Puget Sound area school after Sonitrol Pacific’s audio security system detected sounds of a window breaking July 11.
Monitoring Operator Joe Orsborn received the security system activation from the school just before 2:30 a.m. He heard “continual banging” sounds from the audio sensors and called Lakewood Police.
Officers responded quickly to Sonitrol Pacific’s verified alarm and located seven kids at the school. The seven were suspected of breaking the window in a school door.
