As the Marketing Communications Coordinator for Sound Security Inc., you’ll be responsible for facilitating our corporate communications and marketing strategies, as well as working with every department in our organization to help them effectively convey our brand, Mission and Core Values in the communities we serve.  This position can be based in Portland, Seattle, Tacoma or Everett.

Requirements:
-Self motivated, dive-in-and-get-things-done temperament
-Manage schemes with Ninja-like skills; deftly juggle multiple projects to meet or beat deadlines
-Fearless copywriting to craft messages for multiple media and target audiences, from spec sheets to press releases to blog posts
-Work collaboratively to solve problems and get solutions into action
-Maximize resources (people, technology, vendors and time)
-Love learning, growing and putting new information to use to achieve results
-Degree in marketing, communications, journalism or similar

Key responsibilities
-Support all departments with marketing, communications, branding and customer service needs
-Attend and actively participate in workshops, training sessions and meetings appropriate to this position
-Oversee external and internal websites, work with digital marketing agencies and maintain the correspondence via the websites
-Write, edit and produce printed newsletters and eNewsletters
-Develop protocols and systems for written material; enforce graphic/design standards
-Work with departments and external groups to manage and plan events (job fairs, trade shows, company events, etc) and create promotional materials
-Coordinate and facilitate the Police Relations program in all offices
-Manage communications about apprehensions
-Coordinate corporate and local advertising campaigns
-Write and distribute press releases, facilitate media relations
-Produce the monthly employee newsletter
-Format, layout and schedule company memos/e-mails
-Act as the primary contact for internal communications-related questions
-Assist in development and implementation of training programs to educate employees on communication
-Coordinate communications efforts toward strategies to utilize the most effective communications tools
