The combination of Mattie MacKenzie’s persistence and hard work, upbeat and responsive attitude, offers of help for anything and everyone, with all that Sound Security Jazz she exudes each day made her the Board’s choice for September Employee of the Month. Mattie, HR/payroll, works out of the Sonitrol Pacific Portland office.
Mattie’s persistence in working with Sonitrol Corp/Stanley Works National Accounts brought the National Accounts balance from 18 percent to 2 percent of our total accounts receivable. This is an impressive result for a very difficult project. She took on the Goliath again when Parr Lumber needed help with Stanley’s billing department.
“Mattie took very good care of me on the dorky collection issue, wrote Bob Shroyer. “She is persistent and detailed, and I appreciate that greatly. I am so glad that you guys took over the consolidated billing, I can’t imagine dealing with their craziness!”
Mattie has served as a valuable resource for Gary Atkinson, Verisafe Division Manager, and he trusts he can meet with her to address questions or concerns and she’ll follow through with an upbeat attitude and excellent results. For example, she created a system of checks and balances with Verisafe commissions to allow Gary to review them prior to check requests.
Mattie energizes people throughout the organization, she never seems to be in a bad mood and always has a smile. Her positivity and willingness to help teammates has positioned Mattie as a “go-to” person for people in different departments working on a variety of projects. And she comes through for them.
We look forward to Mattie keeping the Jazz flowing and congratulate her on earning this recognition.
