Those of you following Sonitrol Pacific’s blog know I bought my first house this summer. What you may not know is my greatest anxiety about buying a home was the issue of landscaping.
I am thrilled to report that thanks to the great efforts of Professional Grounds Management, my new landscape is almost done and, not only does it look great, it significantly enhances the overall security of my home.
John recommended lots of pokey plants and shrubery under the windows (to mercilessly poke someone considering breaking in through a window) and lots of decorative rock skirting the house (to make noise and alert me to someone walking around the perimeter). All existing plants were pruned back to make certain the house was visible from the street and outdoor lighting had maximum impact.
I’m so excited with the end result. Everything looks lovely and I feel safer than ever.
