**By Salena Wolfe, Office Support Specialist, Everett**
I’ve been with Sonitrol Pacific since December 2005 and ever since I can remember our employees in Everett have donated each holiday season to local organizations close to our hearts.
This year, we’re supporting Adopt-A-Child and Fallen Officers Food Drive, helping to make sure children and families in our communities are taken care of for Christmas.
Adopt-A-Child is a program run by Compass Health to support foster children for Christmas. We partner with them each year to make sure that at least two children or an entire family receives everything they could want and need for Christmas. We start raising money in October and in December will shop for items on their “wish list.” Warm jackets, scarves, gloves, games, iPods, etc. have been provided to children in the past and we look forward to doing the same this year for two more children.
13-year-old Lizzie needs pants and shoes, but would love an MP3 player and digital camera! She enjoys arts & crafts and her favorite color is pink. 11-year-old Brandon needs shoes, socks, and shirts, but would love a Remote Controlled helicopter or car and Nintendo 3DS games. He enjoys electronics and drawing and his favorite colors are blue and green.

We are pleased to be helping the Everett Police Department collect food for the annual Fallen Officers Food Drive this year! Started by the Lakewood Police Department in 2010, they collect food to honor the memory of the four officers killed in the line of duty Nov. 29, 2009. For more information, click here.
Giving back to the community through donations, volunteer work and our Good Stuff Squared program is an important part of who we are at Sonitrol Pacific. Please join us in making this Christmas a little brighter for our neighbors in need.
