This news report describes a recent incident in which security designed, installed and monitored by Sonitrol of Richmond detected suspects attempting to break into a pawn shop BEFORE they actually got inside. Police were called and the suspects were arrested while still on the roof of the building. Only Sonitrol’s unique audio detection technology catches criminals while still outside the protected facility. In 2008, 25 percent of Sonitrol Pacific assisted apprehensions took place before suspects got inside.
