Audio Detection Leads Guard to Dealership Vandal

Chelsea Mitchell Arrests & Apprehensions

The sharp business security monitoring skills of  Mike Young, an operator in our Verification Center, resulted in the apprehension of a man at a luxury car dealership in Portland. At 2:12 a.m., the audio detection business security system sent Mike activations from the audio verification panel in a showroom that sounded like ongoing rattling from a door handle. He dispatched a patrol service. When the guard arrived, he found a man outside who reported that three of his friends were inside the building. Upon inspection, the guard found a broken glass pane in a service door but noted that it would have been too small to use as an entry point. No one was inside and no entry had been made. The man was taken by Portland Police to a detox facility and nothing was stolen from the dealership.
