A Last-Minute Catch

Chelsea Mitchell Arrests & Apprehensions

By 3:30 in the afternoon on New Year’s Eve, it would have been a safe assumption that Sonitrol Pacific would end 2012 with a total of 132 apprehensions. But that all changed at 3:34, when Verification Center Operator Robin Goings received an audio notification of breaking glass from a junior high school in Tacoma. The impact turned on the audio verification panel in the school’s security system and Robin was able to hear what sounded more like a banging or thudding noise than actual breaking glass. Robin sent a school patrol officer to check the campus, who found three teens on the roof when he arrived. There was no damage to the building and the kids were released to their parents.

Thanks to Robin’s speedy dispatch, another three apprehensions were added to our list for 2012, bringing our total to 135.
