Police arrest burgling brothers

MARYSVILLE – Police responded before noon Thursday to a silent alarm at a house on the eastside of Marysville. There, officers found a burglary in progress.
A male driver was sitting in a truck parked in the driveway and another male coming out of the house blurted out, “I just needed the money,” when he saw the police officers, Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux said.
Police found a flat-screen television, a laptop computer and iPods stacked near the front door ready to be loaded into the truck, he said.
Two Marysville brothers were booked for residential burglary. The adult brother was booked into the Snohomish County Jail, and the younger, a juvenile, into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center.

From inside the Operations Center:

Operator Jeff LaMont received the alarm from the home in Sonitrol Pacific’s operations and monitoring center.  He called police to dispatch them to the scene, then contacted the homeowner to inform her what was happening. The homeowner arrived at the house in about 20 minutes, just in time to see police take away the two suspected burglars.
