Suspects Run From School, Into Arms of Officers

Sheriff’s deputies took two suspected intruders of an Oregon grade school into custody after the school’s Sonitrol Pacific security system detected suspicious activity October 15.
Sonitrol Pacific Operator Robin Goings received an impact-activated audio signal from the school and heard voices, rustling noises and other movement sounds.  He immediately dispatched deputies to the school.
Goings continued to monitor audio of activity at the school while officers were on their way.  He kept the sheriff’s department’s operator current on every alarm and noise he heard.
Goings heard audio of the suspects running when they realized officers arrived at the school.
According to deputies, the suspects ran down the hall and into deputies’ arms.  The two were promptly taken into custody.
