Heather Orso Named Sound Security's October Employee of the Month
“Thank you, thank you, thank you for sending Heather to me,” began the raving fan letter Sharon Scott from the City of Covington wrote to Beau. Ms. Scott’s letter continued to express her appreciation for Heather’s system knowledge, her confidence and her faithful follow-through. The Sound Security Board of Directors, our clients and the team share Ms. Scott’s sentiments, leading to Heather being named the October Employee of the Month.
In the tradition of talented Customer Service Representatives, Heather understands the delicate balance required to find true win/win solutions. She keeps an eye out for sales opportunities, but with the knowledge that the added services offered are in the best interest of the clients. Heather advocates for clients and emulates Sound Security’s Core Values with pride.
Heather actively participates in training sessions, both mandatory and optional, and looks for opportunities to put what she learns into action with clients. Because she recognizes the power of apprehensions and the need for timeliness in promoting them, she gathers details and write up incidents quickly. Similarly, she understands the power of referrals from clients and gets at least one testimonial letter per month.
Within the company, “positive attitude” is the term most often used to describe Heather, but she also has a reputation as “nice”, “helpful” and “responsive”. The team perceives her as someone they can count on for timely follow up on reports and to tenaciously work for resolution to challenges. Heather is an excellent communicator and asks for help when she needs it, but she knows how to use her resources and search for solutions on her own first.
