Sonitrol Pacific Operator Leads Police to Arrest One

Police arrested one burglary suspect inside a Washington school's portable classroom after Sonitrol Pacific’s electronic security detects the intruder May 1.

A highly trained Sonitrol Pacific operator received alarm signals from the portable classroom. Listening to real-time audio from the facility, the operator heard a loud ruckus and immediately dispatched police.  Officers arrived quickly on school grounds and located the surprised suspect. The individual was apprehended, still confused on how the break-in was detected.

Sonitrol Pacific installs and monitors silent alarm systems in order to keep criminals from knowing they've been detected and police are on the way.  Police respond quickly to a call from Sonitrol Pacific's monitoring center and suspects get arrested.

In 2008, 178 suspects were arrested after a Sonitrol Pacific security system detected suspicious activity.
