Location: A Middle School
One Arrested, Two Sought for Breaking Windows
Police arrested one individual and learned the names of two others suspected of breaking windows at an area middle school March 29.
An impact-activated audio signal was received in Sonitrol Pacific’s Operations Center and the monitoring operator dispatched the school district’s patrol service. The security officer discovered and detained one individual, but he suspected two others got away. He requested the operator dispatch police.
After searching the area, police officers did not locate the two individuals, but upon questioning the suspect in custody told officers the names of the other two window breakers.
In 2008, 178 suspects were arrested after detection by Sonitrol Pacific. Our Everett monitoring center is staffed by experts in sound analysis and alarm verification. This means fewer false alarms and more criminals arrested.
