From a whisper to an arrest
Sonitrol Pacific security audio of whispering inside a school tipped off police and allowed them to arrest two people suspected of trying to take computers March 25.
Operator Kristine Etheridge received a security system activation from the portable classroom of a Tacoma area school just after 1:30 a.m. She heard live audio of whispering and faint movement sounds, and called police.
Officers arrived at the school and promptly located two people who got inside through an open window. Police suspect the two were trying to steal computers and took them into custody.
