Police Respond to Emergency Alert, Arrest One

Police apprehended an individual suspected of trying to get drugs with a fake prescription from a Sonitrol Pacific security protected pharmacy after pharmacy employees pressed an emergency alert button June 2.
A highly trained Sonitrol Pacific operator received the emergency alert, or “panic” alarm, from the medical facility and called police.  Officers were already en route to the facility in response to a report of forgery.
When police arrived at the pharmacy they apprehended one individual suspected of attempting to get narcotics with a forged prescription. Officers suspect the individual took the prescription pad from a doctor’s desk.
