Faint prying noise results in six detained
     Faint sounds of prying from a school’s roof detected by Sonitrol Pacific security audio resulted in the detainment of six juveniles who were later released to their parents June 25.
     At 9:08 p.m., Operator Bricia Mejia received an alarm from the school’s roof.  She heard faint sounds of movement and prying noises.  Mejia suspected someone was trying to pry open the school’s roof hatch and called the schools guard service.
     While the guards were en route, Mejia heard loud crashing noises and called police.
     Six kids were caught trespassing on the school’s roof.  Police detained the six until their parents came to pick them up.  The school district chose to not pursue the matter.
