Smith Named Sound Security June 2009 Employee of the Month

     Denise Smith’s passion for Sound Security, Inc. and Sonitrol technology, coupled with her boundless energy once again caught the attention of her peers and Sound Security management.  Therefore, the Board of Directors was pleased to designate her the June 2009 Employee of the Month. 
    The guidance and direction Denise provides to all those who work with her has been clearly demonstrated by her active participation in the recent “Bringin’ Home the Bacon” leads program.  She is recognized as an Operations Center Supervisor who leads by example.  If one of her operators is ill, Denise can be counted on to fill the shift.  She focuses on catching people doing something right and makes it a point to acknowledge them in public.  
    Denise has the distinct ability to identify potential problems.  When she noticed operators struggling with the new Verisafe procedures, Denise coordinated a training session with Wayne.  One of her most significant contributions to the Operations Center, as well as the company as a whole, has been to save potentially good operators as they are about to “give up” in their training process.  Today, Sound Security has three skilled and happy employees as a direct result of Denise saying to Michelle, “let me give it a try”.  Without her commitment to and support of these people, they would be employed elsewhere.
