Audio security reveals burglary in progress

Sonitrol Pacific’s audio security sensors detected a break in at a Washington woodworking and cabinetry factory and an expert operator sent police to arrest one July 26.
Approximately 3:30 a.m., Sonitrol Pacific Operator Kris Etheridge received an activation of the security system at Skagit Valley Architectural Millworks and heard crashing noises over the live audio streaming from the facility.  She immediately called police.
To keep officers informed of activity on site while they were en route, Etheridge continued to monitor audio sensors at the business and heard voices and sounds of movement.

Police arrived and began a search of the facility.  They found one woman hiding inside and arrested her.  Officers continued to search for a second suspect.

Shortly after her arrest, officers discovered the woman and her suspected accomplice applied to rent property from the business owner, but the application was denied due to lack of references.
