Slayter Named Employee of the Month

    Marolyn Slayter brings an upbeat and professional attitude to her work at Sound Security and that has made an impact.  The Board of Directors recognizes how challenging the accounts receivable position can be and appreciates Marolyn’s focus on goals, her commitment to success, and her ability to adapt in dynamic situations.  To show their appreciation, they named Marolyn Sound Security’s February 2010 Employee of the Month.

    Since she joined the team in April of 2009, Marolyn’s efforts have yielded impressive results.  Collection calls aren’t always received well, but Marolyn is not intimidated by any call or situation.   She strikes a balance between sympathy and firmness.   In Marolyn, our clients find an understanding listener, but not a pushover.  She knows when it’s time to put her foot down and be stern and isn’t afraid to hold people accountable for their choices.  The pre-call research she does ensures she communicate clearly and accurately with clients.

      Even if a collection call frustrates Marolyn, she never let sit show.  She appear unflappable and always in a good mood.    Marolyn is a valued member of the team.  Her teammates know they can come to her for help and she will be open to taking on additional projects or tasks if it’s in the best interest of the client, the company or the team.
