Beau Bradley, Founder and President
Beau Bradley opened the doors of Sound Security, Inc., doing business as Sonitrol Pacific, with his wife Deb in 1978. They worked together and, over time, established the mission and core values for the company which maintained exceptional customer service over 30 years of growth. Today, Beau and Deb live on their ranch in Montana, have four children and five (so far) grandchildren, but Beau remains very involved in the leadership and vision of Sonitrol Pacific. He lives the philosophy of leading by “getting out of your office and walking around the organization” and values keeping in touch with the clients and employees of Sound Security. Beau flies into the Puget Sound, Portland and Boise several times a month. He exercises his entrepreneurial muscle and satisfies his other passions of flying and ranching through his Montana ventures, Ruby Valley Aviation and Bradley Livestock.

Jim Payne, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Jim Payne joined Sonitrol Pacific in 1985 and guides the company’s marketing and security consulting standards. Before his promotion to Vice President, Jim worked as a Security Consultant, Portland Sales Manager and Portland General Manager. He played a principle role in opening Sonitrol Pacific Seattle in 2000 and relocated his family to the Puget Sound area in 2006.
Jim married his wife Rachael in 1983 and they have two sons. One son is pursuing a business degree at the University of Oregon and the other is a junior at Jackson High School in Everett, Washington.
Jim is a Past President of the Portland Metropolitan Business Association and Past President of Portland Sales & Marketing Executives. Jim is a past Treasurer of the Sonitrol National Dealers Association (SNDA) and currently serves on various SNDA committees. He is a recipient of the SNDA “World Class Award” for contributions to the Association, the PSME “Murray Award” for Sales & Marketing Excellence, the MBA’s “President’s Award” for contributions to the Association, and the Oregon Burglar and Fire Alarm Association’s “Bill Thompson Award” for contributions to the Association. Jim received his Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism from the University of Oregon.

Joe Bullis, Vice President of Operations
Joe Bullis has been leading Operations for Sonitrol Pacific since 1991. He began his career with Sonitrol in 1974 when he joined Sonitrol of Spokane as a installation and service technician. In less than five years Joe was promoted to Installation and Service Manager and then promoted again in 1984 to Director of Operations. In 1988, Joe accepted a position with Sonitrol’s national organization and became a Corporate Trainer. He moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1990 to serve as General Manager for that Sonitrol office. A conversation with Beau Bradley convinced Joe Sonitrol Pacific was where he really wanted to be. He moved to Everett in 1991 and became the Vice President of Operations for Sound Security and General Manager of Sonitrol Pacific Everett.
Joe is the proud father of three sons, Aaron, Eric and Elliott.

Jim Dopp, Vice President of Finance
Jim Dopp serves as the Vice President of Finance for Sound Security and General Manager for Sonitrol Pacific Portland. He joined the team in 1999 as Portland Operations Manager and was promoted to Portland General Manager in 2000. Jim is a past Treasurer of the Sonitrol National Dealers Association and currently serves on various SNDA committees.
Jim was born and raised in Montana and returned there after completing a four year enlistment in the Navy. Jim met his wife Patty in 1975 and they married in Kalispell, Montana. Patty is Director of Photography for The Oregonian. They have two sons, Joel, a member of Sonitrol Pacific Tacoma, and Devin, a business major completing his senior year at the University of Oregon.
Prior to joining the Sound Security team, Jim worked as the Operations Officer for Missoula County in Montana. Among his many responsibilities were the county’s Central 911 Center, the Facilities Department, the Data Processing Department, and Disaster and Emergency Services. He served as Missoula County Liaison to multiple Boards, including the Missoula County Park Board and several Citizen Boards. Jim left Missoula County for a position with Temp Control Mechanical HVAC in Montana. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from the University of Montana.

Lisa Buckner, Controller
Lisa Buckner began her career with Sonitrol Pacific in 1991 and currently serves as Sound Security’s Corporate Controller. After graduating from high school, Lisa joined the U.S. Army in the fall of 1986. This journey started in Fort Dix, New Jersey where Lisa received all of her training and ended in Camp Casey, Korea where she received an honorable discharge in June 1988. While serving in the U.S. Army, Lisa received the Army Achievement Medal, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon, the Army Service Ribbon, the Oversees Service Ribbon and a Good Conduct Medal. In 1990, Lisa married her husband Erick, whom she met while serving in the Army.
Lisa began her tenure at Sonitrol Pacific as a Central Station Operator in March 1991. Within months of joining the team she covered the maternity leave of an accounting department employee. Through this experience Lisa discovered a love and talent for accounting. She never returned to the Central Station and worked in all aspects of the accounting field over the next several years. In 1997 she earned first place in the administrative category of the Sonitrol National Dealers Association “Achievement Award.” In 1998, Lisa became Sonitrol Pacific’s Accounting Manager and was promoted to Sound Security’s Corporate Controller soon after. During this time, Lisa also attended college classes and earned her Associate’s of Applied Science Degree in Accounting in June 2000. Lisa currently serves as President on the Board of the Metropolitan Business Association.
