Cathy Fuller Named Sound Security June Employee of the Month
Members of the Sound Security team routinely go above and beyond to support each other in delivering the best possible care to our clients. Not so routine is when an entire department takes the time to outline in detail why a particular team member deserves an award. However, time and again Cathy Fuller has impressed the Portland Technicians with her willingness to help, her kindness and her genuine concern for clients’ needs, and they nominated her to receive the June Employee of the Month award. The Board of Directors agreed with their assessment and enthusiastically gave her the honor.
“Cathy acts like she is working a desk in Portland and she is really part of our team,” wrote one technician, summing up what many others said.
Despite the physical distance between Everett and Portland, Cathy makes clients and teammates feel as though she is right next to them, helping to solve a problem. She never trivializes or dismisses a customer’s concern, no matter how small it may seem. She gives 100 percent every day, even if things are crazy in the Operations Center. Her communication skills are particularly appreciated during those crazy times.
“Every tech that I have talked to reflects the same sentiment, that Cathy is a pleasure to work with and helps to create a more efficient work flow.”
The Portland technicians know Cathy will “keep them in the loop”, return phone calls as soon as she can, and call “when downloads are complete, aborted, or any problem is encountered”. Her efforts increase their effectiveness and the overall client experience.
In addition to her excellent skills as a sound analyst and operator, Cathy’s teammates describe her as calm, cheerful, courteous and helpful. Clients frequently make similar comments.
The Board recognizes how much Cathy gives and greatly appreciates her.
