Two Arrested at Middle School When Sonitrol Pacific ‘Hears’ Voices
Unique audio security technology monitored by Sonitrol Pacific’s experts allowed sheriff’s deputies to arrest two suspected school burglars before they had a chance to leave the building April 20.

A Sonitrol Pacific operator received an impact activated audio signal from the school and listened to real-time activity at the school to verify the nature of the noise. She heard two distinct voices discussing breaking into the school and immediately dispatched sheriff’s deputies.
Officers arrived on campus and located two juveniles inside the school.  They took the two suspects into custody.
Since 1978, Sonitrol Pacific has assisted law enforcement officials in Washington, Oregon and Idaho in the arrest of more than 5,000 suspected criminals.  In 2008 alone, 178 suspects were arrested after detection by Sonitrol Pacific.
