Audio Sensors Catch Burglary In Progress
Police arrested one suspect at an area elementary school after the Sonitrol Pacific security system detected a break-in March 19.

A Sonitrol Pacific operator received an impact-activated signal from the school and dispatched police due to the suspicious nature of the audio activity.  While on the phone with police, the operator received more activations and heard whispering voices.

Upon arriving on scene, police surrounded the school, then entered the building. Officers located and apprehended one suspect. According to police, the individual efficiently staged several of the school’s computer towers at his planned exit.
